The PC500-L combines a patented Multiple Probe Maximum Differential Bubble
Pressure method with full automation.
Unlike manual SensaDyne models, the PC500-L features automatic
calibration (AutoCal) and computer controlled flow rates over a user-selected
dynamic range. It can produce an entire
dynamic curve (DynaCurve) automatically, or remain at a user specified
Surface Age for intermittent measurements.
Additional features of the PC500-L include automatic surface age
measurement and the ability to make measurements under pressure up to 225
psi, making this instrument ideal for polymer manufacturers, as well as
for aerosols and liquefied gases.
Like all SensaDyne Models, the PC500-L fully
meets ASTM Standard D3825-90, and is completely
independent of probe depth of immersion and changes in ambient pressure, and
is unaffected by foaming and surface contamination.
